June has been a very big month, as we bid farewell to three of our precious ponies as they departed for their new homes. While it’s always sad to see the babies ‘graduate’, we were proud to send Ablue Moon’s Buttercelli (‘Franc’) and Ablue Moon’s Heaven’s D’or (‘Lucy’) on their way to their new families. Both babies loaded and travelled like champions, one all the way to Queensland, and the other to Western Australia, arriving safe and sound and settling in quickly. We extend our sincerest congratulations to their owners – we’re so thrilled that you love your newest additions, and hope they bring you every happiness and success.
We can also now disclose that Lucy’s proud new owner is Emma Phillips, who has waited a very long time for a filly from this mating, and is beyond excited to have finally welcomed her little golden princess. We couldn’t be more delighted that Lucy has gone to such a wonderful home, and look forward to watching her future with Emma.
The hardest goodbye of all was that bid to the beautiful Peaches n Cream. Peaches had been with us for more than a decade, has produced five foals for us, and has been a consistent show horse and cherished member of our family. While there were tears leading up to and during her departure, we are thrilled that she has gone to a great home with Amy Bell. Peaches has settled in very well after her long journey, and is charming everyone she meets with her beauty and sweet nature. Congratulations again, Amy – we know that ‘Precious’ is your dream come true, and wish you the best of luck with all your plans.
